recycling cans to make Christmas tree

okhey I saw this in 1funny.com and had to post it in my blog. Its a super recycling idea for people who drink canned drinks or specifically mountain dew cans (coz they r green). I think other colour of cans can be used if you want a colourful tree. I would give this person making the tree a triple thumbs up (!!!) for this major recycling project! here are the pics...

Recycle: Plastic water bottle n Paper

I was busy during Eid... visiting houses and just being lazy after a month of fasting! :)

Anyway its over now and I am back to doing my favourite recycling projects! Actually I recycled the plastic bottle 2-3 months back and made the paper flowers (Rose) during the Ramadan month but didn't take pictures until yesterday! hehe :D

Turned a 500ml coca-cola bottle into a small vase (i got the instructions from wikihow)

the rose looked pretty awesome in the website where I got the instructions from because the creator used music sheets for the rose and I used an old assignment paper to try it and it turned out pretty kool :D 

I kept it as my special flower and made the rest our of some old fliers! ^^

the end product...mega recycle flower n flower vase! :P and for the first time my mom actually thought this recycle project is nice 'cause she likes how the flowers turned out! *feels more proud*

Recycle: Jewellery Box

Yayee my fave time pass...recycling stuff! like i follow "Reuse, Reduce, Recycle!"
This time I have recycled a cellphone box into a jewellery box.
The box was pretty awesome itself. first it was full black in colour so less work for me i didnt have to colour it..and the most helpful part...it had magnets and opened as a..amm i donno..different way than the usual boxes..something like this...

and it also had 2 compartments one smaller than the other so i used the big compartment for storing my bracelets and the small one for rings :D

I decorated it with some old bangles and sequins, a huge stone i took out from an old dress, a broken butterfly shaped punch clip and some colourful ribbon. herez how the finish product looks :P

DIY: Wardrobe

After finishing redecorating the chest of drawers I wanted to redecorate my white wardrobe with something light brown as the other wardrobe is light brown...

its just a simple idea...all I used is just some brown wood printed paper cuts...its didn't turn up the way I wanted to but its still okay! I pictured it like- brown particles coming out from the brown wardrobe and the particles should have been in order from big chunks to small...kinda like digital stuff but I guess I didn't get the shapes right...and the sticking is a mess!!!


Anyway, whatever it is it's all done...next time I have to get my measurements right.

Recycle Project again

looky what I made again...another recycle project for my coloring pens!...they were always inside a bag n i found it really irritating to take out all the colors just bcoz the one I need was at the back of the bag!sheesh....so i decided to make a pen holder!
its from a battery box...i just wrapped it with light green paper and pasted some magazine cut outs...and it looks perfectly tropical!lol....

i keep it beside my computer/study table..n now i feel like decorating all my stuff on the table with flowers and green stuff! then it would feel like studying in a garden!lol
